SSC Ultimate Aero EV Supercar

Shelby SuperCars (SSC) announced plans to create the first 100% Green Supercar – the Ultimate Aero EV (Electric Vehicle). The green car will start testing in Feb 2009 and will be in production before the end of 2009. Engineering details are yet not disclosed.

One of the worst kept secrets in the industry announced on saturday: Chrysler will build a production version of the Dodge Challenger that has been already presented at 2006 Detroit Auto Show.

There are only a few details, but it`s clear we will be able to buy it in 2008.

It is build on the platform that holds the 300C, Dodge Magnum and Dodge Charger. It uses a 6.1 liter, 425 HP, 6 speed, manual transmission. It reached 0 to 60mph in 4.5 seconds and the quarter-mile in 13 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 174mph
