Abt VW Scirocco Tuning Package Unveiled
After Oettinger, Abt Sportline is the tuner to represent a tuner package for a new Scirocco. The tuner kit consists of complete body kit, a rear exhaust system with engine and the chassis performance upgradings.
On exterior, Abt stressed the car’s forward wedged formed look with the striking front bumper façade which contains sloping four pipe rear muffler.
For suspension and brakes, tuner retrieved their existing parts range for sport lower springs which fall a ride height by a 30 mm and the tuning brake kit which involves rotor, pads and calipers.
Under bonnet, Abt increases power result for 1.4 TSI from 160 horsepower (119 kW) to 200 horsepower (147 kW) and a 2.0L turbo-diesel to 170 horsepower / 125 kW (Usual: 140 horsepower / 103kW). The 2.0 TSI is raised from standard 200 horsepower (147 kW) to 240 horsepower (177 kW).
Offered from Jan’09, the full package which contains body pack, springs, four pipe rear muffler and full wheel set (19″ AR alloys, black & diamond-machined, plus tyres, wheel spacers).
