New Satnav System to inform Traffic Jams, Police Radar and Cheap Fuel
TomTom, the Dutch navigation industry has revealed the new ’satnav system’ that is able to update its maps in a real time for various traffic situations in order to aid reduce time spent behind wheel. The industry revealed the latest device at IFA consumer electronics show in the Berlin this week. They are also planning to offer it in UK, Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland in few coming months.
The new ’satnav system’ delivers the dynamic navigation and the direction guidance that constantly adapts to varying road conditions on the fly. This device performs by comparing recognized traffic situations to estimated amount of time it will take to pass the jam.
The device computes these times by utilizing information/data from unknown measurements of cell phones moving through their networks and redirects the journey on to side-roads if it predicts the substitute route will be faster. E.g., the huge number of phones stationary on the busy highway is supposed to mean that a lot of motorists are struck in the traffic jam.
Motorists will also be able to enter the details about mobile police radar surveillances, which fills this into essential database which can then inform other drivers in that region to slow down. In addition, it features current fuel cost information assistance and even the Goggle Search choices.
Used GO x40 LIVE series is now limited to mentioned European countries but there may be planning to increase its network potential to additional countries in future.
