More powerfull engines for the mid-size trucks and Hummer H3 SUV from GM in 2007
In 2007, GM will increase the horsepower of the mid-size trucks and the Hummer H3 SUV.

They will increase the Hummer`s engine from the 4,700 pound, 3.5 liter, 220 HP adding 22 HP. It will finally have a 3.7 liter 220 HP engine.
This increase will also be available for the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado. The 2.8 liter, 175 HP will be replaced by a 2.9 liter, 185 HP.

Sutter affirmed: “Our goal here has been to increase performance without compromising fuel economy. We’ve been able to do that with some of the technology we have in the engine,”
