The new F599 GTB Fiorano.
At the Geneva Motor Show, the venue was provided for Ferrari to unvail the newest Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the most powerfull 12-cylinder car that was ever developed at Maranello. In this new model sets a new benchmark of excellence in all points of view: handling, driving pleasure, design and so on, throw the most technologically advanced features ever applied by Ferrari to a two-seater.

The performance of the car is incredible: it’s 6 litre V12 engine, developed from the well known Enzo counterpart, has 620 hp at a maximum of 7,600 rpm and combines with all aluminium chassis and other bodywork giving a stunning weight-power ratio of less then 2.5 kg/hp.

The innovative F599 GTB Fiorano design replaces the last of the line of cars that are in the same class: the 575M Maranello and 550 Maranello, models that were sold in over 5,700 cars. The 599 GTB owes a great debt to Alcoa and Delphi for the all-aluminium space frame and suspansion system, that were highly praised.

The year 2005 was a very successful one for Ferrari. Maintaining the brand’s exclusivity, Maranello has worked very hard to bring the new demands of the rapidly expanding market. The result of that labour was the almoust 5,400 cars that were delivered successfully in the past year. This unneglecteble figure show’s the excellent performance for the Maranello berlinetts and the F430 and 612 Saglietti spider versions.
